A Wolf In Murderers Clothing

I think that Voice Thread is a great tool to use in the classroom. I had never heard of it until this class, but I'm glad I know about it now! Initially, I was nervous, because I wasn't sure if the program would be easy to use. I was also nervous about illustrating my own story, but thankfully I was able to find relevant pictures for my story on Google! The program turned out to be very user friendly, and actually quite fun. It allowed me to be as creative as I wanted to, and even include friends and family if I chose to do so. I plan on using this tool in my future classroom, even if it is younger elementary. A Voice Thread could even be created as a class or in groups. It doesn't necessarily need to be an individual project. The great thing about this project, is that it incorporated so many things that we have learned throughout the semester. We wrote a rough draft, met with partners to peer edit each others' papers, wrote a final copy, prepared illustrations, and added in technology for the final Voice Thread. Overall, I have learned so much throughout this process. I truly enjoy the Voice Thread website, and I will continue to use it throughout my years as a teacher.
